Happy 100th Birthday, Mr. Dahl! The author of such enduring classics as Matilda, James and the Giant Peach, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the BFG and many other great stories. Like all classic children’s authors, His work was smart, funny, creative, sometimes dark and NEVER underestimated the intelligence and ability to comprehend of the children he was writing for. He also was able to make up the most amazing words!
